Welcome to My World of Imagination and Creativity!
I’m Jazmine Williams, the creative force behind Hungry for a Snack. As an author, illustrator, app creator, and designer, I am passionate about bringing joy, learning, and self-expression to children everywhere.

My journey began in 2020 when my one-year-old daughter, Willa, struggled to communicate her snack cravings. Determined to help her, I tapped into my creative abilities and wrote Hungry for a Snack, a baby and toddler children’s book. What started as a simple solution for my daughter turned into the foundation of a remarkable adventure in storytelling and education.

Inspired by Willa’s needs and my desire to empower young readers, I continued creating stories that resonate with their unique experiences. From The Bubble Making and Recipe Children’s Book to The Eye Glasses Story, I strive to instill confidence and ignite the imaginations of children everywhere.

Continuing this mission, my latest book, This Is My Body: Consent, Respect, Personal Empowerment, available on Amazon Prime, teaches children the importance of understanding and respecting personal boundaries. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, this book fosters self-confidence and promotes healthy, respectful relationships from a young age. Understanding the potential of technology in education, I used my Master’s in Business Administration to embrace a new avenue for learning. Collaborating with my talented husband, a skilled coder, we created an app that complements my books. Our collaboration brought my stories to life with captivating 2D animations, transforming the reading experience into an interactive adventure where children can immerse themselves in magical tales, engaging with characters and exploring captivating worlds.

My two wonderful children, Willa and Bear, continue to inspire me every day. Their experiences remind me of the power of effective communication and the transformative impact of literature.

My Journey in Education:
I studied at the Art Institute of North Hollywood from 2014 to 2017, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Marketing and Management. My time in fashion school honed my skills in digital illustration and drawing while providing me with a solid foundation in business strategy, marketing, and law—skills that have been invaluable in my career. In 2020, I furthered my education by earning an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

I am incredibly proud of my work and accomplishments. I believe it’s important to show kids that with determination and belief, they can create their own path and achieve their dreams.
