Bubble Making and Recipe Book Workshop
Welcome to the Bubble Making and Recipe Book Workshop, inspired by the beloved children's book created by Jazmine Williams in 2020. This workshop is designed to not only entertain but also educate toddlers and small children about the joy of blowing bubbles and the importance of perseverance.
About the Book:
The Bubble Making and Recipe Book is a delightful tale that encourages children to keep trying, even when things seem challenging. With colorful illustrations and engaging storytelling, it motivates young readers to master the art of bubble blowing. Plus, at the end of the story, children are treated to a special recipe for creating their own bubble solution at home.
Workshop Activities:
Our workshop offers two exciting activities that bring the story to life and provide hands-on learning experiences for children:
- Bubble Solution Making: Each child will have their own workstation equipped with a bowl, ingredients such as water, sugar, dish soap, and flavor drops to create their favorite scents. They'll also receive a mini bubble jar, funnel, and a handmade pipe cleaner that will be transformed into a bubble wand. This activity not only teaches children how to make bubble solution but also enhances their sensory exploration and fine motor skills.
- Chemical Reaction Exploration: In this interactive experiment, each child will receive their own flask, along with food coloring of their choice and a beaker of baking soda. They'll witness the fascinating reaction between baking soda and vinegar, promoting scientific curiosity and understanding of basic chemistry principles. This activity is both educational and STEM-related, encouraging critical thinking and experimentation.
